Unique
products work by a process called "Bacterial Digestion".
Bacterial Digestion is the process
of bacteria consuming organic matter. Bacteria feed on
organic waste, deriving nutrition for growth and
reproduction. Using complex chemical reactions, the organic
waste is metabolized down to water and carbon dioxide,
providing the bacteria with enough energy to sustain their
life. |

What are
bacteria digestants?
Bacterial digestants are products
that attack organic waste wherever it occurs. Bacterial
digestants are especially useful for plumbing, septic tanks,
grease traps and anywhere that organic waste might cause a
problem.
Humans, animals and plants all
produce or cause organic waste. These organic materials
accumulate at various places in the community. If not
properly eliminated, they can and will cause damage and are
expensive to eliminate. Our bacterial digestants eliminate
clogs, pollution and odors by breaking down and converting
the organic material into its two most basic components -
carbon dioxide and water. |

What do
bacterial digestants consist of?
Three components need to be present:
bacteria cultures, enzymes and essential nutrients. When
these three elements are combined, they promote the quick
decomposition of waste with no offensive odors. If one of
these components is missing however, the bacterial digestant
will not be effective in eliminating organic waste. Each of
these components play an important role in promoting fast,
efficient elimination of organic waste. |

How do
bacterial digestants work?
The basic principle behind bacterial
digestants is the natural decomposition process that occurs
constantly in the environment. Bacterial digestants just
speed up this natural decaying process, safely and without
odors or noxious gases. The combination of bacteria,
enzymes and essential nutrients are necessary for fast
decomposition of the organic waste. In nature, bacteria
need time to adjust to their environment before they can
reproduce and begin to digest organic waste. In our
bacterial digestants, we have included free enzymes to help
jump start the bacteria into digestion.
These enzymes are chemical additives
that break up complex waste molecules into small, simple
pieces that can be digested directly by the bacteria. With
the help of enzymes, the bacteria in our digestants can
reproduce and consume organic waste particles immediately -
resulting in the fast, complete digestion of organic waste.

What about
essential nutrients and bacteria?
These nutrients may not occur
naturally in waste and a lack of these nutrients may
seriously inhibit the bacteria's growth and reproduction.
Essential nutrients are added to our bacterial digestants.
They are like the vitamins and minerals that the human body
uses.
The bacteria contained in our
bacterial digestants are carefully selected, beneficial
bacteria that occur in the environment. The bacteria in our
digestants are of the Bacillus species and are able to
consume waste in both the aerobic (requires oxygen to live)
and anaerobic (doesn't require oxygen to live) conditions.
This versatile strain of bacteria also have other desirable
characteristics:
Bacillus bacteria :
- consume organic waste
faster than the bacteria naturally present in the
waste
- grow and reproduce fast and
easy
- are non-pathogenic (won't
cause disease in man or animal)
- don't produce foul odors or
obnoxious gases as they digest waste

What makes
our bacterial digestants superior to ordinary bacterial
products?
The bacteria in our bacterial
digestants are packaged in freeze-dried spore form as
opposed to the vegetative adult form. The advantages of the
spore form of bacteria include:

Longer shelf life and
greater stability. Because the spore
form is in a suspended state rather than a
vegetative state, our digestant in not active and
wasted in the bottle.

Higher bacteria
count.
The bacteria count in Unique Products is
approximately 65 Billion per quart. Our digestants
provide more power per application, allowing you to
use less.

Non-Pathogenic
formula.
The
ingredients in bacterial digestants do not cause
disease in human or animal. Our digestants also do
not produce and odors or noxious gases.

Free enzymes.
Free enzymes are added
to our digestants to help jump start the bacteria
into the digestion process. These nonliving,
chemical additives prepare the organic waste for the
bacteria, allowing the bacteria to digest waste at a
faster than normal rate.

How to eliminate pet urine naturally |

|
Most people
are not familiar with the laws of nature
or how nature takes care of itself. If
you walk through a wooded area, where
animals are living, it is rare to see
any feces unless they are recently
dropped. Nor do you smell urine. The
reason is that nature eliminates its own
organic waste. If you have feces or
urine, they develop their own bacteria
in a few days if there is enough
moisture in the area. The bacteria will
develop enzymes to break down the waste
small enough for the bacteria to
digest. The bacteria eat the waste and
turn it into water and carbon dioxide.
The urine will turn into ammonia and
carbon dioxide.
Outside that is ok. Inside it
is not so good. When your pet urinates
on the carpet, wood or concrete floor,
the urine will begin to develop its own
bacteria to eliminate itself. You will
begin to smell ammonia and know what is
happening.
Not knowing what to do, you go
to the store and buy whatever is
available to get rid of the pet odor.
Most products are disinfectants. These
products kill the bacteria. When the
bacteria are killed, you cannot smell
the problem and you think it is solved.
In a week or so the bacteria start again
and you smell the ammonia again. You
try the disinfectant again. The cycle
starts again but does not solve the
problem.
Bacteria will eat up the
urine, turning it into water and carbon
dioxide. The urine no longer exists.
